HEALTHY LIVING STYLE

Цель урока: Применение изученной лексики по темам: «Еда», «Здоровье», « Спорт» в новой учебной ситуации.

Задачи: 1. Введение конструкции “is considered to be”?, повторение степеней сравнения прилагательных.

2. Формирование речевой и компенсаторной компетенций.

3. Воспитание стремления к здоровому образу жизни.

Оборудование: магнитофон, видеопроектор.

Наглядность: иллюстрации, изображающие различные виды спорта и продукты питания.

HEALTHY LIVING STYLE

Цель урока : Применение изученной лексики по темам: «Еда», «Здоровье», « Спорт» в новой учебной ситуации.

Задачи: 1. Введение конструкции “is considered to be”?, повторение степеней сравнения прилагательных.

2. Формирование речевой и компенсаторной компетенций.

3. Воспитание стремления к здоровому образу жизни.

Оборудование: магнитофон, видеопроектор.

Наглядность: иллюстрации, изображающие различные виды спорта и продукты питания.

I. The beginning of the lesson .

Teacher : Today we are going to discuss the most important problem of our life — our health. Why is this problem the most important nowadays? What’s your opinion?

— There are a lot of different diseases;

— Unfortunately, about 80% of pupils living school have health problems.

II. Choosing of the motto .

People of different nations have proverbs about health which underline the importance of health. Let’s remember some of them:

  1. Early to bed early to rise

Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

  1. An apple a day keeps a doctor away.
  2. You are what you eat.
  3. Eat to live, not live to eat.

Teacher: What proverb can we choose as a motto of our lesson?

Учащиеся выбирают девиз урока.

Teacher: Our health depends on different things. What are they?

I. Speech drills.

— They are: our habits, the food we eat, physical activity.

Teacher : Let’s begin with our habits. First name bad habits.

— eating lots of sweets

— eating between meals

— sleeping too much or too little

Teacher: How do bad habits influence our health?

Pupils: — they could lead to diseases

— lead to obesity

— such habits as taking drugs, drinking alcohol or smoking are really deadly and could be cause of death

— eating between meals, snaking, skipping breakfast, sleeping too little or too much are indicative of chaotic lifestyle

Teacher: On the contrary good habits promote our health. What are they?

Pupils: Eating healthy food, regular meals, sleeping 7-8 hours, doing morning exercising, playing sport.

Teacher: So, to stay healthy for a long time we should have good habits and to avoid bad ones.

Do you have any bad habits? Do you try to give them up? What good habits do you have?

3. Eating habits.

Teacher: Now let’s discuss another thing which influences our fit – the food we eat. “We are what we eat” the proverb says. Pupils, what food do you prefer to eat?

Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы.

Teacher: Pupils, are you sure that food you usually eat is good for your health? Listen to Dr. Amy Murphy’s lecture about healthy eating and answer what food is good for our health.

1. Учащиеся читают и переводят незнакомые слова, которые встречаются в тексте. Слова выписаны на доску.

Учащиеся слушают текст первый раз. Затем они получают текст лекции с пропущенными словами, которые они вписывают во время второго прослушивания.(Пропущенные слова даны курсивом). Проверка понимания – учащиеся зачитывают вставленные слова.

Текст для аудирования:

In order to stay healthy it is important to have a balanced diet – in other words, food that contains something from each of the three main groups of food. These groups are protein, fat , and carbohydrates .

You find protein in lots of food, for example meat , fish , nuts , cheese and milk . It helps your body to grow and to be healthy and it gives you energy. Fat gives you energy but don’t eat a lot – it’s bad for you. There are a lot of fatty foods that come from animals, for example milk , cheese , butter and meat .

Carbohydrates give you more than 70% of your energy . Bread , pasta , cereals , fruits, and vegetables such as potatoes and cabbage all contain lots of carbohydrates.

Fruits, vegetables, beans and nuts , brown bread all have fibre. It doesn’t give you energy but it fills your stomach when you are hungry.

There are many different vitamins and minerals. They help our body be healthy . You can get all your vitamins and minerals from fresh fruit and vegetables.

Тип занятия: Практикум

Цель урока: Обобщение и систематизация знаний учащихся по теме «Здоровый образ жизни».

Задачи:

  • Развивать навыки монологической и диалогической речи.
  • Совершенствовать навык письма.
  • Воспитывать внимательное отношение к своему здоровью.
  • Воспитывать культуру общения.

Оборудование: доска, аудиозапись песни « Penguin Dance », раздаточный материал: Приложение 1, Приложение 2, Приложение 3, Приложение 4; картинки по теме «ЗОЖ»

Ход занятия

1. Организационный момент :

Приветствие, представление, определение настроения учащихся

Teacher: Good morning, dear children!

Pupils: Good morning, dear teacher!

Teacher: Take your seats, please. I’m glad to see you today. How are you?

Pupils: We are fine, thanks. And you?

Teacher: I’m OK, too. Thank you.

2. Мотивационно целевой этап

T: Look at the blackboard, read the British proverb and guess what it is about. ( На классной доске записана британская поговорка о здоровье: Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy , wealthy and wise — Кто рано ложится и рано встает, здоровье, богатство и ум наживет)

T: What Russian proverbs about health do you know?

P1: Здоровье дороже денег . – (Health is better than wealth.)

P2: В здоровом теле – здоровый дух . – (A sound mind in a sound body.)

P3: Курить — здоровью вредить . – (Smoking is dangerous for your health.)

T: Can you guess, what are you going to speak about today?

P: At our lesson we are going to speak about our Health.

T: As you know «Health is the greatest wealth». Nowadays the problems of our health become very important. If we want to be healthy we must follow special advices. Do you know how to be healthy? I hope you are ready for the work.

3. Практический этап .

1) Фонетическая зарядка : T: Find the Russian equivalents for these English words. Приложение 1 (Работа в парах)

2) Дай совет . T: Read the situation and give a piece of advice . (На карточках даны заболевания и советы. Учащиеся сопоставляют карточки и озвучивают . Работа в парах. Приложение 2 )

a ) What should people do if they have a headache ?

Student 1: If they have a headache they should go to bed, take some medicine and air the room.

c) What should people do if they have a toothache?

Student 2: If they have a toothache they should/must take some medicine and go to the doctor.

e) What should people do if they have got a cold?

Student 3: If they have got a cold, they must go to bed, drink warm milk with honey.

3) Ролевая игра “At the doctor”

T: Make a dialogue, using the given phrases.

Put your hands on the desk, sit straight, close your eyes, breathe quietly, relax, please! Imagine: you are healthy and wealthy. Your eyes are shining. Your skin is healthy. You have a good figure and a good gait. You have a trained body and good biceps. Open your eyes! How are you? What else can you say about yourself?

9) T: Listen the statements and say true or false. (работа в группе)

  1. All foods are good for you.
  2. Vitamins and minerals help you to keep healthy.
  3. Fruit and vegetables are full of sugar and fat.
  4. Sweets, chips and coke keep you healthy.
  5. You should eat a variety of foods to stay healthy and grow big and strong.

T: So, today we’ve spoken about our health. What should we do to be healthy? I’m pleased with your work today. Thank you very much. Good-bye. Don’t worry! Be healthy!
